The Development of Built-Up Areas. Main Aspects
Abstract
The paper deals with studies of Russian and European experiences in the development of municipal structure territories through the creation of agencies of promotion and redevelopment. One of the current issues of urban development is the lack of potential lands for new construction of residential and commercial properties because there are no free territories in Russia today. The notion of redevelopment is formulated in this paper with regard to the Russian regulations for town planning.
