STATIC LOAD TESTING FOR BUILT-UP COLUMN JOINTS IN UNIVERSAL PREFABRICATED ANTISEISMIC STRUCTURAL SYSTEM
Abstract
The article presents the results of static load testing for built-up column joints in which the longitudinal reinforcement is connected using mechanical crimped couplers. Patterns of deformation, crack propagation, and failure are obtained as a result of these investigations. Also, fracture load and deformability values are presented for the workpieces and their joints.
