FUNCTIONAL AND SPATIAL TRANSFORMATIONS OF ARCHITECTURAL SPACE OF CITY SQUARES
Abstract
The paper presents a study of architectural space design of city squares. The types of temporary functional, spatial, and artistic transformations are determined in this paper. The central square in Tyumen-city, Russia is considered for which the areas of active and passive transformations are identified. The possibility of combining functions and object-spatial changes are shown for different event and celebration organization.
