STRENGTH AND CRACK RESISTANCE ANALYSIS OF STEEL ELEMENTS UNDER AXIAL LOAD, FLEXURE MOMENT, AND TORQUE

Abstract

The presents the strength analysis of reinforced concrete elements under combined action of the axial load, flexure moment and torque using the strength ratio between strength and crack resistance. The limit values for these parameters are detected. Experimental results describe the propagation of deformations in the concrete and reinforcement, crack formation, fracture, bearing capacity and deformability of test specimens. The algorithm and the structural analysis technique are proposed for the conditions of the joint effect of the axial load, flexure moment and torque. The diagrams are suggested for the calculation results
