Fiber-Reinforced Concrete Bending Elements Under Dynamic Load

Abstract

The paper presents the experimental research of bending elements having steel fiber reinforcement in compression zone and high-strength reinforcement in tensile zone under static and dynamic loads. The new experimental data are obtained for the processes of resistance of fiber-reinforced concrete elements having a mixed reinforcement. Deformation, crack propagation, and failure of such structures under the intensive dynamic load are studied herein. Prerequisites and the design technique for fiber-reinforced steel bending elements are given in terms of the dynamic load.
