Abstract
The article shows the development of wooden architecture in Western Siberia, which greatest blossoming was observed in the 19-20th centuries. In this period, the creative potential of builders and architects was revealed. The wooden architecture of the 19th century received a new interpretation in terms of the Russian style. It is expressed in the use of Russian folk art and creation of new forms of decor. The neo-Russian style is widely spread in many of Siberian cities. It is shown that wooden architecture of that time used the projects of professional architects.

Abstract
The paper presents the assessment of the technical condition of the former building of the Tomsk parochial secondary school for girls. The building is an architectural monument, its operation period is more than 100 years. Its design and executive documentation is practically non-existent, its functional purpose has changed over time, the regulatory design base and the strength and deformation characteristics of materials also changed. At the time of inspection, the building has significant deformations caused by stresses, exposure to temperatures and changes in the properties of the soil base. In addition, in 2015, a fire broke out in the building and since then it has not been operated and has no a thermal circuit due to lack of conservation. The paper presents the results of restoring the structural solution of the building, examining the technical condition, laboratory tests of material and ground parameters, static and verifying calculations of building structures. Each type of work describes the main features and nuances that arise when they are performed.

Abstract
The paper presents flexure tests of 10 T-beams, their methodology, specimen fracture, the investigation of prestressed carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) layers, T-beam carrying capacity and rigidity subjected to a combined reinforcement with presetressed CFRP and a steel sheet. It is shown that T-beam undergoes flexural fracture and its carrying capacity increased more than by 90 %. T-beam prestressing ranging between 5- 15%, results in the increase in prestress and yield load values and the decrease in the ultimate load. The rigidity has no obvious change before the yield. In presetressing, it increased up to 10-15 %. The values of prestress, yield and ultimate loads increase with the number of reinforced layers. After the yield, the rigidity of T-beam reinforced with two CFRP layers increased twice as compared to that reinforced with one CFRP layer. When the number of CFRP layers is more than two, the rigidity tends to a gradual increase. With the increase in predamage, the yield and ultimate loads linearly reduce. After the yield, the rigidity of T-beam reinforced with two CFRP layers increased twice.

Abstract
This article presents the experimental research carried out into the efficient surface coatings made of high-elasticity pigments for concrete structures exposed to the deformation due to cracking. In contrast to application fields claimed by the manufacturer, high-elasticity (rubber) pigments can be used in such applications as coloring the exposed surfaces of bearing frame element of a building, i.e. reinforced concrete crossbar; outer layer of the three-layer concrete wall panel. Tests are conducted for the three-layer wall panel coated with a high-elasticity pigment to determine the vapor permeability of the outer layer of the structure. The rationale is shown for a possible use of the high-elasticity pigment both without disturbing the thermal efficiency of the structure and room microclimate. New information is obtained allowing to increase the operational reliability of the considered structures without significant and expensive structural modifications.

Abstract
The paper presents physicochemical investigations of the structure formation in cement brick provided by high-voltage corona discharge treatment of binder components of hydraulic cements. The effect from the high-voltage corona discharge applied to clinker minerals is evaluated by the X-ray phase, thermal, spectral, and electron-microscopic analyses. It is found that the effect from the high-voltage corona discharge applied to alite modifies the crystallization process, morphology, and the amount of new formations in the hardening system. The effect of dispersion phase of high concentrations is studied in relation to the structure of the corona field and its parameters.

Abstract
The paper presents investigation results on properties of cement-sand mixture with basalt microfibers modified with carbon nanoparticles. The required compressive strength (30 MPa) of this mixture is achieved when the content of modified basalt microfibers achieves 1 wt.%. In this case, the flexural strength of the mortar is increased by 77.5 %, the shrinkage strain is reduced by 56.2 %, and the wear resistance is increased up to 0.4 g/cm2. The developed compositions and енру mortar technology are recommended for the industrial flooring.

Abstract
The high level of traumatism in Russia during working at height has led to the introduction of new regulatory documents on the labor protection. The analysis of the safety regulatory framework for works on flat roofs shows the requirements described are not sufficient for safety precautions. The paper suggests safety precautions for works on flat roofs. It is recommended to introduce the anchor point and anchor line designations for the anchor device into the national regulatory documents for mounting means of protection for working at height.

Abstract
The article presents a method the temperature and strength control for the concrete ageing in in situ construction of reinforced concrete buildings. A comparison of the laboratory and field observation results obtained using the computerized temperature and strength control and the strength analysis of the concrete ageing detected by the non-destructive testing show a good agreement. This indicates that the proposed method is suitable and allows the most probable control for the concrete strength in time at negative temperatures in in situ construction carried out in accordance with the SNiP 70.13330.2012 ‘Load bearing and wall structures’. As a result, the standard ‘The temperature and strength control for and strength analysis of the concrete ageing in in situ construction’ is designed at Tomsk State University of Architecture and Building.

Abstract
With a view to implement the complex development plans on the transport infrastructure in cities, the adopted classification of automobile roads is studied in this paper for the determination of their design parameters and consumer properties. The analysis is given to the street and road network of the Tomsk-city in order to study its availability, quality and safety with regard to the urban planning areas and the distribution of the population in them. For a complex development of the transport infrastructure, it is suggested to correct the existing functional classification of roads and streets in the Tomsk-city. This correction should be provided on the basis of the basic network of arterial streets and roads taking into account the perspective development of territories, forecast of the population dynamics and the level of automobilization.

Abstract
The paper deals with the practical method of calculating the bearing capacity of weak bottom soil of road embankments. A theory of soil limit equilibrium underlies this method. A direct force action produced by the embankment on the soil represents the pressure with a trapezoid diagram of the normal component. Closed solutions are considered for an ideal-cohesion and weightless bottom soil. Approximation formulas obtained for the general case, are based on results of numerical calculations. The influence of a rigid layer is estimated for the bearing capacity of the bottom soil. Equations are obtained for the limiting pressure of embankment on the weak soil depending on soil characteristics and geometrical parameters of embankment.
