The Old Rite Assumption Church Complex in Tomsk: Current Status and Prospects for Development

Abstract
This study addresses the preservation and effective functioning of a historic wooden church in modern conditions, namely the Old Rite Assumption Church Complex in Tomsk.
Purpose: The paper examines the urban and spatial planning, the architecture of the church complex, identifies functional problems, needs, and development prospects.
Methodology: Research methods include the analysis and systematization of historical and archival documents, bibliographic materials, field studies, and systematization of research findings.
Practical implication: The theoretical and practical significance of this study lies in the potential use of research results in preparing lectures on the history of Siberian architecture and design documentation for the development of the Old Rite Assumption Church Complex in Tomsk.
Value: This study analyzes the church complex in Tomsk and proposes recommendations for its development.
