Определена зависимость времени плавления от радиуса частицы с учетом зависимости коэффициента теплообмена от радиуса твердой части частицы на этапе плавления и с учетом фазовых переходов. Установлено, что частицы размером 2 мм (радиусом 1 мм) полностью расплавляются за время 2,61 с, частицы размером 0,4 мм расплавляются за 0,1 с.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The paper presents the calculation of melting time for a quartz particle in a high-temperature silicate melt. The dependence between the melting time and the radius of quartz particle is determined accounting for the dependence of the heat exchange rate upon the radius of the solid quartz particle at the stage of melting and phase transformations.
